Former teen idol Leif Garrett has entered a not guilty plea to one felony count of heroin possession during his arraignment today in Los Angeles.

Leif Garrett, 48, was ordered by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gregory Dohi to return to court on March 16.

Defense attorney Andrew Flier claimed police illegally searched Leif Garrett before his arrest on February 1.

Flier said that Garrett was nervous and sweating at the Metrolink station in Los Angeles, which prompted his search and arrest.

“He’s very upset about this arrest,” Flier said.

Leif was arrested in 2006 for possession of heroin and quaaludes while riding a Metro Red Line train without a ticket. Garrett did 90 days in jail for that incident.

A stripper in Oregon named Stefani Talbott claims she had an affair with actor Matthew Fox after meeting him at a strip club.

Matthew Fox, 43, who plays Dr. Jack Shephard on the hit series “Lost”, reportedly had an affair with stripper Stefani Talbott.

Fox has been married to Margherita Ronchi for 18 years and they have two children together.

Stefani Talbott, 26, who danced at the Stars Cabaret club in Bend, Oregon said,  “Yes, I’ve been having an affair with Matthew Fox.

“I’ve kept voice mails and text messages from him.”

Matthew Fox vehemently denies any sexual relationship with Stefani Talbott.

A SeaWorld Orlando trainer died this afternoon at SeaWorld’s Shamu Stadium after being attacked by a killer whale.

Sources say the trainer is a woman in her 40’s named Dawn Brancheau, one of  SeaWorld Orlando’s most experienced trainers.

A guest at the park named Victoria Biniak told Local 6 news that the trainer was a veteran of SeaWorld and had just finished explaining to the audience what they would see during the performance.

At that time the whale came up from the water and grabbed the female trainer.

“He was thrashing her around pretty good. It was violent,’” Biniak told Local 6.

The whale “took off really fast in the tank, and then he came back, shot up in the air, grabbed the trainer by the waist and started thrashing around, and one of her shoes flew off.”

Orange County Fire Rescue personnel arrived on the scene five minutes later but the woman was dead when rescue officials arrived.

Sources are reporting that the killer whale involved in the incident is named Tillikum, that has been involved in at least one other incident at SeaWorld.

Professional free skier C.R. Johnson died in an accident today while skiing down a steep chute and hitting his head against the rocks.

C.R. Johnson, who had competed in the Winter X games, was skiing with friends on Wednesday when he fell while going down a tight and very rocky area.

Johnson reportedly fell face first and spun around and hit the back of his head on rocks. The free skier was wearing a helmet, according to reports.

The ski patrol made it on the scene within a few minutes, but were unable to revive Johnson.

C.R. Johnson was reportedly 26 years old.

Mo’Nique isn’t going to let something like being nominated for an Academy Award stop her from doing what she loves: stand up!!

The longtime bachelor has finally found the one!

“Yeah, we did it!”  Seth said of his engagement.  Seth didn’t’ come forward with any details on the engagement or wedding plans but his friend didn’t mind sharing the news.

A friend of the couple said that Seth and Clare got engaged on New Year’s Eve and that they plan to marry in May.

Seth Green, 36, is known for his role in the television series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Robot Chicken” and “Family Guy.”  Green has also been in the Austin Powers movies and comedies such as “Can’t Hardly Wait,” “Without a Paddle” and “Old Dogs.”

His fiance Clare Grant, 30, has been in movies such as “Black Snake Moan” and “Walk the Line.”

The couple reportedly have been together since 2008.

The Abbey Road Studios building in London where the Beatles recorded most of their albums was officially named a historic building today by English Heritage after the organization appealed to the government to do so.
 
The statement by English Heritage chief executive Simon Thurley states that the building:

“…Acts as a modern day monument to the history of recorded sound and music. Some of the most defining sounds of the 20th century were created within the walls of the Abbey Road Studios. It contains, quite simply, the most famous recording studios in the world.”

Lindsay Lohan’s proud papa Michael Lohan is commending his daughter for coming clean about her alcohol and cocaine abuse. He denies that Lindsay hit rock bottom when he started to go public with the media and stands by his claims that her real issue at the moment is prescription drug addiction. Here’s what Micheal had to say:

“While I’m very happy that Lindsay is beginning to come ‘clean,’ the truth of the matter is I went public when she hit rock bottom. SHE DID NOT GO ROCK BOTTOM WHEN I WENT PUBLIC…
“And while I find her admissions of her experiences with alcohol and cocaine to be noble, the REAL PROBLEM still exists with the prescription drug use that the so-called ‘addiction specialist’, therapist and doctors are prescribing… to Lindsay.”
“Lindsay and my other children were torn apart because they lost the stability of a family…The problem for Lindsay and so many others is prescription drug use…
“I will not stop (speaking out) until I finally get my daughter off of all the prescription drugs which she never needed and doesn’t need no matter how much I get bad mouthed or slandered by the people out there who aren’t so perfect themselves… I will do ALL I can to make things right, even if it costs me, or is at my own expense!”

Michael still believes the messy divorce between him and Dina caused Lindsay to spiral out of control and declares he won’t shut his trap until Lindsay is back on track.

As if he hasn’t said sorry enough!

Tiger Woods knows the paparazzi storm that he’s caused at the Florida pre-school where their toddler Sam attends day care classes. That’s why the Tiger and Elin address the following apology letter to the parents of Premier Academy in Windermere.

It reads:

Dear Premier Academy parents,
We would like to share our appreciation for your support over the past several months and offer our personal apology for any inconvenience you are experiencing due to the increased media scrutiny surrounding our children. We truly understand how frustrating it can be.
We hope that the paparazzi will find something better to do with their time in the near future. In the meantime, it is our goal to keep life as normal as possible for our children. We are sure that as parents you can appreciate that. For Sam, that normalcy means attending the school that she enjoys so much.
Again, we truly appreciate the support from the entire Premier Academy family.

WWE wrestler the Undertaker was burned during the Elimination Chamber event on Sunday night.

The accident happened during the Undertaker’s entrance to the ring when one of the flames went off too early, engulfing him in a fireball.

The Undertaker just took off his burned jacket and continued on with the show.

The Undertaker, whose real name is Mark William Calaway, suffered 1st and 2nd degree burns in the accident.  The wrestler continually walked off camera to douse himself with bottled water to cool his skin.

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross posted a message on Twitter.com about the pyrotechnics accident saying, “Undertaker is okay from what I understand but ‘lucky,’ He’s as (tough) as they come without question.”

Robert Zimmerman, the spokesman for WWE, described the accident as a “mistiming” with the pyrotechnics. “Thank God he was fine. It basically amounted to a sunburn. It wasn’t over a large area of his body, just a short area, just a little bit on his chest.”

Zimmerman also added that the Undertaker was checked out by a doctor before competing in the Elimination match.
