Lindsay Lohan’s proud papa Michael Lohan is commending his daughter for coming clean about her alcohol and cocaine abuse. He denies that Lindsay hit rock bottom when he started to go public with the media and stands by his claims that her real issue at the moment is prescription drug addiction. Here’s what Micheal had to say:

“While I’m very happy that Lindsay is beginning to come ‘clean,’ the truth of the matter is I went public when she hit rock bottom. SHE DID NOT GO ROCK BOTTOM WHEN I WENT PUBLIC…
“And while I find her admissions of her experiences with alcohol and cocaine to be noble, the REAL PROBLEM still exists with the prescription drug use that the so-called ‘addiction specialist’, therapist and doctors are prescribing… to Lindsay.”
“Lindsay and my other children were torn apart because they lost the stability of a family…The problem for Lindsay and so many others is prescription drug use…
“I will not stop (speaking out) until I finally get my daughter off of all the prescription drugs which she never needed and doesn’t need no matter how much I get bad mouthed or slandered by the people out there who aren’t so perfect themselves… I will do ALL I can to make things right, even if it costs me, or is at my own expense!”

Michael still believes the messy divorce between him and Dina caused Lindsay to spiral out of control and declares he won’t shut his trap until Lindsay is back on track.

Johnny Depp recently revealed that his two kids Lily-Rose and Jack love their dad’s iconic title role in Tim Burton’s Edward Scissorhands. He says:

“It’s funny because they’ve seen it but they have a difficult time watching it because it’s their dad and they make that connection, but its Edward Scissorhands. That’s by far my kids’ favorite. They just connect with the character and also they see something, their dad feeling that isolation, feeling that loneliness. He’s a tragic character and so I think it’s hard for them. They bawl when they see that movie.”

Lindsay Lohan gave an exclusive interview to the UK’s Sun newspaper yesterday and here are some highlights:

On her worst times:
“When my father was going public, that’s when I hit rock bottom. I abused substances too much and it wasn’t the answer to my problems.
On her coping mechanisms:
“I tried to mask my problems with alcohol, cocaine, and mind-altering substances. Now I’m in a place where I don’t need to use anything and I feel emotions because I choose to.
On learning lessons:
“I never want to be close to losing everything I worked for and aspired to have my whole life. I’ve made some dreadful mistakes but learned from them – that has probably saved my life.”
On drugs:
“I was only aware of cocaine because of my dad. I was terrified of it. But I tried it because I was stubborn, stupid and wanted to see what it was like. It’s not something I ever want to do again. It made me feel like s**t. It became uninteresting to me. I’m hyper anyway and I have that kind of personality, so I don’t need something like that.”
On the reason for rehab:
“The first time I checked myself in because I had taken Ambien. It’s a sleeping aid but it makes you hallucinate.I’d run a bath and fallen asleep on the floor and it overflowed. When I woke up, I was so scared I called my therapist and said, ‘Can I just go somewhere for a month? I’m around bad people and I need to take care of myself.’ I was terrified, so I put my name in.”

Finally it seems Michael Lohan is expressing some genuine concern for his daughter’s health and well being.

Michael is convinced that Lindsay is addicted to prescription pills and tried to confront the judge who reviewed her progress report from her DUI conviction.
Here’s what Michael had to say:

 “I’ve been trying to get into court with the judge for a long time. The last time she was in court the judge should have drug tested her. If she had, I know Lindsay would have come up dirty and she would have been thrown into rehab.”

Michael also wanted to address Lindsay directly bringing up supposed text messages they have been exchanging some as recently as Tuesday night:

“It really pisses me off that when you have trouble or when you’re in St. Barth’s and you have nowhere to turn to and you tell me everything is going awry and your sister [Ali Lohan] is missing…I’m up 6 hours in the night trying to hire a jet to pick you up and take you home…and then you flip the script on me.
“Whenever you need me, you call me. Whenever you have a problem, I’m there for you. You can’t backstab people. You can’t turn your back on the people that love you and want to help you. This is about you getting well, you getting healthy, me loving you and wanting you to do the right thing. The prescription drugs are killing you.”

The Top Chef host, model, and author welcomed her daughter on Saturday. Her rep stated, “Mother and baby are well and happy.”

Lakshmi had hinted last month that she would be giving her daughter “a classically Indian Sanskrit name.”

“Not a fancy name, but a name that is close to my family,” she explained. “It will be after someone in my family.”

Padma said her pregnancy was a  “medical miracle” after struggling for years with endometriosis.

Padma has kept the father to her baby a secret but Adam Dell brother to billionaire computer guy Michael Dell, is rumored to be the babydaddy.

Comedian Will Ferrell and wife Viveca Paulin have welcomed their third son, named Axel Ferrell on Saturday morning. 

After performing ‘Free Bird’ on the final Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, comedian Will Ferrell and wife have welcomed their third son.

Axel Ferrell was reportedly born Saturday morning in Los Angeles. His rep added, “All the Ferrells are well.”

Little Axel will  join his big brothers Magnus, 5 ½, and Mattias, 3.

Ferrell, 42 and Paulin, 40, met in acting class 15 years ago and married in 2000. They announced the pregnancy in September.

Colin Farrell and actress Alicja Bachleda have welcomed a baby boy!

Actor Colin Farrell and Alicja Bachleda became parents to a son they named Henry Tadeusz Farrell on Oct. 7, a spokesperson for Farrell tells the Associated Press.

The actor also has a six-year-old son, James, from a previous relationship with model Kim Bordenave.
