Mira Sorvino is on cloud nine after giving birth to what she calls her “miracle” baby.
Actress Mira Sorvino, 41, went into labor at the end of June after a pregnancy riddled with complications that threatened her health as well as her unborn son.
The Oscar-winning actress suffered problems such as placenta previa in her pregnancy, and had to be hospitalized. But now the actress is home along with baby boy, Holden.
Sorvino reveals she also developed a blood clot from being bedridden for such a long time.
But little Holden’s birth made all the problems worth it!
The actress told People magazine: “As soon as they placed him in my arms I knew it had all been worth it.”
She added: “He is my miracle baby. With everything that threatened this pregnancy and both of our lives, he came out of it completely unscathed – perfectly healthy, beautiful and wonderful.”
