A female photographer named Harsha Gopal is considering pressing charges against actor Jude Law after he allegedly hit her while leaving a central London restaurant. Read more on this story below.
Actor Jude Law struck the 28 year-old woman as she photographed him leaving a celebrity dinner party.
Harsha Gopal said the attack was unprovoked, and said, “He hit me full on the face, it was a real stinger, it was very sore.”
Jude Law had attended the dinner hosted by movie director Christopher Nolan. Law left the restaurant at 1 AM and appeared to move his hand toward Harsha Gopal.
Harsha said, “‘It was really loud – there was a massive thud and my face is still stinging today. It was deliberate – you could see it in his face. Maybe he didn’t realize he was hitting a girl, but he could at least apologize.”
Jude Law’s lawyer Graham Shear said Gopal’s claim was nonsense and stated, “Last night’s incident was an accident. Jude was blinded by the camera flashes when he left the restaurant, raised his hand to shield himself and inadvertently struck somebody standing very close. He apologized and left.”
Harsha is considering pressing charges against Jude, 36.
This wouldn’t be the first time Jude Law had an incident with a photographer. He was arrested after allegedly assaulting a photographer near his Maida Vale home in London in 2007, although he denied the claims and the case was dropped.
Most magazines are remembering Michael Jackson on their covers, but OK Magazine has published a quite different photo on their cover… of Michael Jackson’s dead body.
Many of the well-known magazines such as Newsweek, People, etc. have put out a beautiful tribute to Michael Jackson. But OK Magazine made the decision to pay $500,000 for a blurry photo of Michael Jackson, where he is presumably already dead.
OK Magazine defends it’s decision and had this to say:
“The cover represents an event in the history of an extremely entertaining and controversial figure and is sure to provoke some emotion and questions from readers and fans about the circumstances. The news often does.”
What do you think of OK Magazine’s decision to put the photo of Michael Jackson’s dead body on it’s cover? Check out the covers of other magazines featuring Michael Jackson tributes below.
